Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Linesor. Linesor is operated by Abdikani Mohamed Jes, a sole proprietorship. If you are signing up for a company, you confirm you may agree on its behalf. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

What the service does. Linesor gives you an agent that answers questions on your website from knowledge you have approved. Pages crawled and documents uploaded wait for your approval before the agent can answer from them, and every answer records the sources it used. The agent answers questions; it does not take actions in your systems.

Accuracy. Answers are generated by a language model. They can be wrong, and you should not rely on the agent for advice where being wrong carries a cost — legal, medical, financial or safety. The agent is instructed to answer only from your approved knowledge and to say when it does not know, but no such system is perfect. You remain responsible for what your agent tells your customers.

Your responsibilities. You are responsible for the accuracy of the knowledge you approve, for having the right to use it, and for telling your own visitors that they are talking to an automated assistant and that their messages are processed to generate a reply. Do not put special-category personal data into your workspace knowledge.

Acceptable use. Do not use Linesor to deceive people about whether they are talking to software, to send unlawful or harassing content, to attempt to extract other customers' data, or to probe the platform's security without our written agreement.

Trials and billing. The trial runs 14 days and takes no card. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time from your account settings, or email support@linesor.com — access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. Prices are shown on the pricing page before you subscribe. Paddle is our payment provider and the merchant of record for every subscription, and sells the subscription to you as reseller.

Availability. Linesor is provided without a service-level commitment, and access may be interrupted.

Your data, and ending the agreement. Your knowledge and conversations remain yours. You can stop using Linesor at any time and ask us to delete your workspace; see the privacy policy for what is held and for how long.

Refunds. The trial is free and takes no card, so there is nothing to refund before you have paid anything. Once you are paying you can cancel at any time from your settings, and your agent keeps working to the end of the period you have already paid for; part-periods are not refunded as a matter of course. Refund requests outside that are considered case by case: if you think you have been charged in error, or something on our side stopped your agent working, write to support@linesor.com and we will put it right. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Nothing here affects any rights you have under the law that applies to you.

Liability. Linesor is provided "as is" to the extent the law allows. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
